Trinity in Italy
Trinity first examined in Italy in 1995. Since then Trinity has examined thousands of ESOL candidates each year in local centres across the country. TESOL qualifications are currently only available in Rome. In 2000 Trinity signed a Protocol of Understanding with the Italian Ministry of Education and in 2002 an Agreement with CRUI (Conference of Rectors of Italian Universities).
The current Trinity team in Italy is composed of the National Consultant who has been working with Trinity since 1992, 4 Area Consultants since 1996, a Central Administration office since 1998, a network of Support Centres since 2000 (GSC) twenty of which have recently become Administration and Support Centres (CAST)
